16th Guitar International Rendez Vous

The 16th Guitar International Rendez-vous and the 28th A.D.G.P.A. Convention will take place on 19 and 20 August 2021 in Pieve di Soligo and on 21 and 22 August 2021 in Spilimbergo.
The Guitar International Rendez-Vous is the longest-running international guitar festival in Italy; it combines entertainment and culture, territorial and artistic promotion in a rich programme of conventions, seminars, meetings and concerts. The year 2021 brings the Guitar International Rendezvous into the orbit of Folkest – international folk music festival and adds an evening to the three of the previous editions.
The A.D.G.P.A., which already held a Guitar Convention in Spilimbergo in 2008 to great public acclaim, is an international guitar association dedicated to the great Marcel Dadi and Chet Atkins, which aims to promote the culture of acoustic guitar, with particular attention to fingerpicking technique.
The concerts on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 August will be held in the historic venue of Solighetto di Pieve di Soligo, at the Villa Brandolini d’Adda, while those on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 will take place in the beautiful Piazza Garibaldi in Spilimbergo. This move will bring the event into the presence of a wider audience and will offer the instrumentalists a wider audience. For the occasion, a lutherie salon will also be set up in Piazza Garibaldi, hosting over a dozen selected luthiers from all over Italy.
During the evenings in Spilimbergo, the A.D.G.P.A./Banca Delle Prealpi Award will be awarded to the best Emerging Guitarist 2021, who will earn the coveted participation in the Issoudun Festival in France, the headquarters of the A.D.G.P.A.
