Carlo Pestelli lives in Turin, where he was born in 1973. After his first experiences with Fausto Amodei he created his own style halfway between irony and commitment. Between 1996 and 1999 he played with Cantovivo.
Several albums to his credit and many collaborations with musicians from different musical areas characterize the following years. Recently he published Bella Ciao, a book on the history of the famous popular song (with a preface by Moni Ovadia). He is the artistic director of the concert series MusiCogne-musiche di legno conceived by him. He is working on a new record of ten songs planned for the winter of 2019.
