M.E.T.E. (Music enlights the Earth) is a trio formed in Turin in 2022 and composed of Riccardo Di Gianni (guitars, sitar), Elias Farina (drums, African drums) and Ludovico d’Apollo (double bass, electric bass). Indian scales, African rhythms, jazz, funk and prog merge into a single sonic language, where ancient musical traditions are united with the contemporary, resulting in a refined stylistic syncretism. Their music is reflective but at the same time energetic and propulsive, with experimental and evocative settings that leave ample room for collective improvisation.
