Massimo Giuntini has collaborated with artists from all over Europe such as Andy Irvine, Lunasa, Dervish, The Chieftains, Ronnie Drew, Whisky Trail, the early Modena City Ramblers.
Silvio Trotta, a refined multi-instrumentalist, has been on European stages for more than forty years with Musicanti Del Piccolo Borgo, founded by him, and Viulan, a historical group of Italian folk music. He accompanied Riccardo Marasco’s singing for twenty years, immersing himself in the Tuscan tradition. In this new project the two artists merge their experiences with a free spirit, reinterpreting the tradition of southern Italy and the Celtic tradition in an amalgam of sounds and colours mixed with the desire for music.
Line-up:
Massimo Giuntini – uilleann pipes, Irish flutes, bouzouki; Silvio Trotta – guitar, mandola, voice.
