POLITIKOS – Greece/Italy

Politikos because it derives from polis, the city of ancient Greece where citizens had the right to citizenship but also the responsibility to participate in common things by expressing opinions, initiatives, voting.

And so, starting from the border given since ’68 with its occupied Universities, the explosions of protest, the songs of freedom and against every war, Theodoro Melissinopoulos, Carmelo Cacciola and Luca Centamore will try to give and have a presence of responsible artistic citizenship on today’s themes but so common to our recent past.

Politikos because it belongs to everyone, that is shared.
