The so called “Ponti/Puints” project is about migrations stories. Through faces and voices of today’s migrants, stories and images of yesterday’s migrants, the project manages to put under the spotlight the similarities between the feelings belonging to the migrants of different periods and cultures, despite the different phenomenons that cause migration.
The beginning of the performance is played by a multiethnic choir that involves asylum seekers hosted by the municipality of Pordenone, directed by Michela Grena. Furthermore, stories of Friulian people, who contributed to the construction of the trans-Siberian in the late XIX century, are included. The project is a result of a research led by two historians and writers Angelo Floramo and Alberto Vidon, accompanied by the Carantan Band. It’s a project released in collaboration with Nuovi Vicini Soc. Coop. Soc. And Polinote union.
