The Alberto Cesa Award is designed to highlight all music that can give voice to one or more cultural roots from any part of the world. The organisation of the Prize is under the supervision of the festival management, the editorial staff of www.folkbulletin.com and the Associazione Culturale Folkgiornale.
For the 2021 edition, due to the ongoing health emergency and with the desire to give continuity to the Award, we have decided to move the selections online.
In agreement with the representatives of the territorial selections, we contacted musicians, journalists and music critics and thus identified the jury that then selected the six (6) artists/groups that will participate in the final phase.
For the online selections, the jury’s vote was based on the materials sent by the artists to the Alberto Cesa Award secretariat who passed the first stage of the selection.
