FOLKEST DISCHI: there’s music in the air!
Folkest Dischi a label born out of the need to document the intense promotional and documentation work that Folkest has been carrying out with patience and determination for over thirty-five years. Folkest is now considered the largest folk festival in southern Europe.
Several series represent on the one hand the historical memory of this important event, while on the other they open a window on new international productions in the field of this music, with a strong impact on the event’s own territory, i.e. North-Eastern Italy, Carinthia and Istria.
Numerous international artists have worked with the label, as well as very young musicians who have affached the stage for the first time over the years, making themselves known to a wider audience thanks to Folkest and the FolkestDischi label.
