XXXV EDITION<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"Folkest<\/a><\/p>\n

For 2013 the artistic direction of the festival has given a great renewal to the cast, flanking the big names with an \u201carmy\u201d of highly innovative<\/strong> quality proposals.<\/p>\n

Folkest 2013<\/strong> made its debut in Papariano<\/strong> (Fiumicello) on 4 July<\/strong> with a completely feminine evening: Elsa Martin<\/strong>, Maria Devigili<\/strong> and Serio & Faceto<\/strong> proposed interesting shows in which the classic author song is combined with new expressive trends.<\/p>\n

A welcome return, after a few years of absence: from Chile Inti Illimani<\/strong>, on 19 July 2013 in Tolmezzo<\/strong> and on 20 July 2013 in Capodistria<\/strong>, to crown a European tour that celebrated their forty-five years of career.<\/p>\n

Great events also in Piazza Duomo in Spilimbergo<\/strong>, in the final evenings of 26, 27 and 28 July 2013<\/strong>: accompanied by the FVG Mitteleuropa Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Walter Sivilotti<\/strong>, Simone Cristicchi (26)<\/strong>, Allan Taylor (27)<\/strong> and Antonella Ruggiero (28)<\/strong>, concluded the festival with an extraordinary production that among other things saw them celebrate and remember Sergio Endrigo<\/strong> for the eighty years of the birth (1933) of the Istrian songwriter.<\/p>\n
