After last year’s successful tour to present his latest album Jan Juc Moon (Virgin Music, 2022), which saw him take to the stages of no less than 18 countries, Xavier Rudd returns to Italy and will be on July 11 at the Castle of Udine at the 45th edition of the Folkest festival (folkest.com) with his hymn to life and with all his powerful message of humanity, his love for the wide open spaces, the powerful wind of nature flowing through his songs and lyrics. Author of the very famous Follow the sun, whose visionary video now has millions of views, he returns to the stage with his steel guitar, acoustic guitar and percussion, typical of his style and which have distinguished his figure as an author and multi-instrumentalist: a solo dimension rediscovered precisely with and after Pandemic charged with a special emotion and enthusiasm, the one that in We deserve to dream, the single that preceded the album’s release, makes him write a very sweet crescendo refrain that almost takes the turn of an anthem. Or that in a song like Ball and Chain tells us about the power of the human spirit that can survive no matter what challenges life throws at you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
