Following the passing of DAVID CROSBY, formerly with The Byrds, Crosby & Nash, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, CPR, a group of musician friends thought of making a record of his finest songs to continue to keep his memory alive. After getting resounding reviews everywhere, that record is now being made into a concert, as part of a collaboration between Folkest and Conegliano’s Guitar International, thanks to the Municipality of Cervignano.
The main objective is to honor and remember David Crosby’s extraordinary contribution to contemporary popular music, offering the audience an original perspective on his compositions through the personal interpretation of Italian and international artists, thus creating an emotional link between generations and highlighting the universal relevance of his music. Some of the best Italian musicians within this genre, plus the gem of Jeff Pevar (formerly in Crosby’s CPR and also with Crosby, Stills & Nash) with his wife Inger Nova.
