After touring successfully to present his new album Jan Juc Moon (Virgin Music, 2022), Xavier Rudd comes back to Italy with his hopeful ode to life along with a powerful message of solidarity and social commitment.
Author of the famous Follow the sun, he is back on stage with steel guitar, acoustic guitar and percussion which feature his sound and confirm his talent as composer and multi-instrumentalist.
Udine will host the famous Randy Brecker together with the Orchestra dell’Accademia Musicale Naonis, directed by Valter Sivilotti, and pianist Glauco Venier. They will present a multi-faceted program, ranging from some great classics of the XX century, such as Duke Ellington, Cole Porter and George Gershwin, in a homage to American music thanks to Randy Brecker’s legendary trumpet.
A 45-year journey which has enlivened Friulian summer -but not only- since 1979. A festival that is articulated in four countries where several ethnic groups have lived together for centuries.
