The group of Crotz ta Palûd, Frogs in the Swamp, was founded about ten years ago in Spilimbergo, formed by musicians of various musical backgrounds, united, however, by their passion for folk music, precisely as popular culture, both international and Italian, and in particular that related to the Friulian language, which is used exclusively in the lyrics of their songs. The group’s musical repertoire, always evolving, ranges from the most interesting songs of the traditional to arrangements of songs from Ireland, the United States and other origins; there is no lack of original compositions, written and arranged by the elements of the group. All this is offered with both acoustic and electric musical formula under the banner of cheerfulness and audience involvement.
