A new group featuring three members of the Suonatori della Valle del Savena and virtuoso guitarist and mandolinist Antonio Stragapede. They explore traditional dance music with a balance of archaic and modern sounds. Active since 1975, Suonatori della Valle del Savena play ancient and smooth dances from the Bolognese Apennines. Since 1982, Dina Staro has been promoting and exporting the folk singing and dancing traditions of Bologna.
