“A pedi nudi” (barefoot), is the name of the performance by the duo Ammatte, a band born in Florence thanks to the passion and the talent of two ladies, Alessia Arena and Federica Bianchi. Alessia plays using invisible picks while Federica sings and plays the harpsichord, managing to deliver emotions that accompany the audience through a trip that goes from the traditional baroque music origins to self-written songs.
This process is an tribute to the sicilian singer Rosa Balistreri, a woman whose life had been full of obstacles and difficulties and an outstanding musician.
