Fan Chaabi was born in Trento in 2010 from the meeting of young musicians from Trentino and Puglia and Sicily who emigrated to Trentino. Starting from the study of oral tradition musics and elements of ethnic musics, since 2020 the current lineup has matured a great fellowship and a personal style that aims to combine refinement and spontaneity. The live show is a journey through stories, rhythms, styles and sounds of southern Italy and the Balkans and looks forward to Italy and the Mediterranean all. Tetraktys, the group’s first album, was released in 2022 on the Visage Music label.
