A day entirely dedicated to traditional Friulian music, in the setting of Ragogna Castle, one of the symbolic places of the historical heritage rebuilt after the earthquake, overlooking the Tagliamento River and immersed in a landscape and naturalistic context of extraordinary beauty. The event is confirmed as the leading festival dedicated to Friulian folk music, offering the public a natural preview of the prestigious international festival Folkest, with which Fieste da Sedon naturally intertwines. Moments of deepening and popularization led by three protagonists of local musical culture: Lino Straulino, Dario Marusic and Andrea Del Favero. A meeting that is part of the activities of the Academiuta di musiche e culture popolâr da Glauco, in collaboration with the Associazione Musicale Gottardo Tomat of Spilimbergo, the Furclap Association of Udine, thanks to the availability of the splendid spaces of the castle by the Municipality of Ragogna. In the afternoon the musical part opens, in a continuous stream of performances with diatonic harmonicas, accordions, violins, bagpipes, mandolins, guitars, liròn and double basses, which will accompany visitors until dusk. The 2025 edition will feature groups and individual artists, including the Carantan, Trival and Viaç, along with other important representatives of the Friulian folk music scene. Visitors will also be able to take advantage of guided tours of the castle, church, and surrounding natural environments, including the striking Mount Ragogna and the pristine riverbed of the Tagliamento.
