La Maschera is one of the most interesting Neapolitan musical realities. Released in 2014 with the first album entitled O vicolo ‘e l’allegria, in 2018 they won the Andrea Parodi Award.
They offer an interesting successful synthesis of a Neapolitan world music that reflects the rock of the Sixties/Seventies and the popular tradition, passing through punk and ska. They then worked on the similarities between African music and Naples, in a fascinating combination that led them to realize the single Te vengo a cerca’ and the next album.
