In 1966 the first nucleus of Le Orme was formed in Marghera (VE) and recorded their first 45 rpm, followed shortly by the second Senti l’estate che torna and the first album, Ad Gloriam. They become later a trio, with Aldo Tagliapietra on bass and vocals, Tony Pagliuca on keyboards and Michi Dei Rossi on drums. With the production of Gianpiero Reverberi they publish some very important albums: Collage, Uomo di pezza, which contains the hit Gioco di bimba, Felona e Sorona, the live In Concerto, recorded at the Teatro Brancaccio in Rome, followed by Contrappunti. With the guitarist Tolo Marton record in Los Angeles Smogmagica, which is followed by Verità nascoste and Storia o leggenda, which in some ways closes the first part of the group’s activity. Restart in 1979 with the disc Florian and then with Piccola banda dell’ape, also participating in the Sanremo Festival. After the album Venerdì they dissolve, but then reconstitute themselves, continuing the activity until today.
