South Italian popular dances as the pizzica, the taranta and the tammuriata blend with ethnic elements and strange instruments, while keeping the original rhythm of the tradition. The Sicilian tradition is the main theme and its history, characterized by several foreign influences through the centuries, and it’s perfectly depicted.
This excellent band won the award Suonare@Folkest 2016 and made it to the finals at Premio Parodi a Cagliari and rightfully earned the chance to attend Folkest 2017.
