Luca Doro Gjat Dorotea was born in 1983 in Tolmezzo and since adolescence he got passionate about music, in particular Hip Hop. After releasing some CDs in collaboration with the band called “Carnicats”, he dropped his first solo album called “Vai Fradi”. His album is written in three different languages: english, Italian and most importantly Friulian. The use of the Friulian language allowed Doro Gjat to create an expressive album that caught the attention of the Media. His dynamic lyrics are gripping, easily enjoyable and have a deep meaning.: the main themes are emigration and detachment from native land, seen with a charmed eye, a romantic soul and sort of a slight bitterness.The beats by the young carnico producer Davare, favor from the contribution of the Carnicats live band , a band composed by Friulian musicians that accompanies the rapper during his live performances.
