The Alberto Cesa Prize is conceptualised to highlight music that gives voice to either single or multiple cultural roots from around the world. The organization of the Prize is under the supervision of the festival management, the editorial staff of www.folkbulletin.com and the Associazione Culturale Folkgiornale.
Now in its 20th edition, the Prize occupies a prominent place amongst national music contests, thanks to the originality of its formula. It has also drawn the attention of RAI Radio 1, which chose to support and sponsor the event, and of Nuovo Imaie, which gave a generous donation to the Prize for the organization of a tour.

The winners of the local selections will exhibit in San Daniele del Friuli on July 6th 2025.
